Suppose we have input data into the cells in Excel lines of spreadsheet already. The problem to be fixed is how to fill out the respective contents/data automatically such as the 12 months of a year {Jan., Feb., Mar,.}.
Also, one with the term of condition that in the cells of every other row has the empty rows(non- adjacent cell) between each of the row.
Also, one with the term of condition that in the cells of every other row has the empty rows(non- adjacent cell) between each of the row.
Here we go together to tackle this kind of problem with the tip below:
- Fill out the first word of the respective data into the first cell. According to the upper illustrated image providing below, it has the word “Jan” in cell “D2”.
- Next step input the secondary respective content into the active cell underneath next to the left-adjacent cell. In here the “Feb” is in the cell “D4”, see the illustrated picture shown below as well.
- Moving the cursor of your mouse to select the cell "D2" to "D5".
- Move the arrow cursor mouse to the "Fill Handle"[a small black square symbol] at the lower right corner of Cell “D5”
- Last action, do double click onto the "Fill Handle"[a small black square symbol] or drag downward vertically and then stop at any cell as you desire.
See the image below, the result should came out serially the “Mar” appearing in cell “D6”, “Apr” in cell “D8”, “May” in the cell “D10”,. and so on.
Notify:
The function works with the almost entire standard respective contents/database such as:
Number {(1, 2, 3, 4...), or (1, 3, 5, 7...)}
Weekday {Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...}, or {Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday...}
Month {January, February, Mar, April...} or {Mar, Jun, Sept, Dec...}
The order of the respective data can be skipped 1 word, 2 words, 3 words, and so on as wanted, remember that the further data will display depend on how many the order skipping between each.
